    Availability(potential job growth)
Is a little hard to become a paramedic. In most states, you can't apply till you have had 6 months and 1 year as an active EMT. If you are not an EMT which is the Basic, then it would probably take you the full year (or more) to complete Paramedic training. Each level requires an increasing number of hours both on an ambulance.
-You should be at least 18 years of age
-A valid NYS DOH EMS- Emergency Medical Technician -Certificate
    -High School Diploma or equivalent
-A motor vehicle driver’s license valid in NY State
    Rules(and penalties)
According to the web, paramedics have protocol for most incidents. It’s up to the medic to correctly interpret what care and interventions are needed. They are ultimately guided by a medical control also known as a physician. But they have to perform all duties by their protocols autonomously

    Opportunity for growth(more money)
The more years who have working as a paramedic, the more you're growth of pay will increase. For example the chart below show how the first year is 37,346 and after a year it increases to 41,139.

The average salary a early childhood education teacher gets is $29,000. Even though childhood education teachers do not get paid as much as other jobs, I feel as if money isn't always everything. I rather be happy in a job I love, then be misrable in a job making 95,000 a year. becoming a teacher is hard work. You need at least your bachelors degree and a state issued certification or a license for the first couples of years. Then you have to eventually go back to school and get your masters degree. Some states require you to major a certain subject, such as math, science or reading.
Teachers usually work school hours when students are present. Often they stay after school to meet with parents, meet with teachers, grade papers and to prepare lessons. Most of the childhood education teachers work the usual 10-months of school with a two month break during the summer. some teachers teach summer school. Unlike many industries, layoffs and downsizing are rare in education. The benefits are so good, such as health insurance and pension. Dental and vision benefits are among the best when compared with other industries. Teaching also offers additional benefits such as sick days and tuition reimbursement, So you can go back to school and your insurance pays for it!
